coexistapart's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hopefully smooth sailing from here on out... Back in Las Cruces; I arrived yesterday. I am here for six weeks now, or roughly July 24. I was avoiding going back to Toronto for more than a day before my Tel Aviv flight on July 29, but this past trip did not go so well--I felt it was time to bail and make up the difference at the end of July. I got my things moved, and my visa at the Israeli consulate, in addition to many other things that needed to be accomplished, but some people and some things (namely, being homeless) were driving me crazy. So I am back here now with the usual littany of unpacking and laundry that I will need to take care of over the next few days to recover. I am also really looking forward to going back to the gym; I did not eat badly this trip, but with my blood pressure increasing, and bad weather to run outside, I really had moments where I noticed I needed the exercise as a release. Big is working long, long days this week to ensure that we can go to Tucson, AZ next weekend; we are staying at a nice spa near the Cactus National Park that has a nice water play area. Because Big is working really long days, my time does not immediately become truncated once I hit 3pm and it's time to drop what I'm doing so that I can go to the gym and cook dinner; obviously I feel bad that he works so late, but I know he also appreciates the overtime and I appreciate the different schedule. I am off now because I have two episodes of "The Fashion Show," new "Family Jewels" and "Jon & Kate" (though I don't think I will watch it...) all on DVR. I am unlocked at the moment because Anna is not in my life at the moment--that was a serious concern last summer with a former reader from religion at YUS--and because I am going to start a new blog address soonish. The name "coexistapart" feels like such a relic of time; plus, that way, I can safely start the new blog and not feel so rushed to take down everything over here.
