Click back one entry if you want to hear my very long attempt to clear my mind from the last few days. I feel much better now, and the funny thing is the car IS here! So now I actually do have to get a move on with my day. Yesterday was super productive. I got my ticket to NYC booked--although I had to do two, one-ways to make up for the fact I basically waited until two weeks before to book and I'm now paying the price. I got a matinee ticket to see Equus, with naked Harry Potter. I emailed Melinda about a ticket to see Katie Holmes in "All My Sons." I hope we will have a chance to go to the Canadian gastropub The Inn LW12; I'll have to remember to take my guidebook to see what I want to do on my last full day. I ordered Big's birthday present for this weekend. That I didn't mind putting off because I knew it was going to have to come FedEx anyway. I had two items in mind, but ended up going with just one as $200 seems like enough given how much I spent last year. I also managed to finally get back into my Bank of America account, and get some bills dealt with. Called Bell to cancel my cell phone finally, and I have a plan today for tackling most of my school reference stuff. A bunch of eBay items finished on both Sunday and Monday. We did pretty well overall; I'm hoping for roughly $400 before I go to St. Kitt's, although that's before eBay and actual shipping fees. It looks like today (so really tomorrow) is my last day to post 7-day listings. We are now going to Denver next weekend for the 3-day holiday. We'll come back on Monday, I'll hop a plane for NYC Tuesday, and then another to St. Kitt's Wednesday, so next week I'll actually be very FREE seeing as I can only prep future listings! Huzzah! I also realized I really should sit out in the sun a little bit, so I don't burn in St. Kitt's. I'm trying to think what else...I really did get a lot done. I sorted some scrapbooking papers, finally organized my walk-in closet, ordered some CDs off Amazon with return value, and I've made more plans for November. I did a fair bit of reading on India Sunday night, so I have a better idea of what's up. I also did some reading on NEXUS and I now understand why everyone freaked so early in the morning; it's a little bit scary, but hopefully I never have any run-ins like that ever again. *crosses fingers* I've been going to the gym and eating well. I saw this 7-1 (or, in my case, 5-1) cycle thing on Oprah. It's a great idea. You're supposed to only cheat every once and a while, obviously, but the GREAT thing is that if you make a mistake, and cheat early, then you just...wait for it...restart your count. It's so logical I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner. None of this waiting for a specific day of the week business.
